The price you see, what you still owe and the money held on your card are different things.

Your estimated stay cost minus payments already made toward it. Payment timing still depends on your booking.
Money or credit temporarily made unavailable at check-in. It is separate from the cost of your stay; your bank determines release timing.
Already all-in: your $600 stay quote includes room, resort fee and tax; with no extra parking, the modeled cost stays $600. Room only: a fictional $100 room + $50 fee with 10% tax on both is $165 per night. At check-in: a confirmed $200 payment plus a separate $450 hold needs $650 available; the hold is not a stay expense.
Open the booking page’s final price details. Look for room charges, resort or destination fees, taxes, parking, “due now” and “due at property.” The booking website alone does not tell us what your displayed price includes.
Is your price per night or for the entire stay? Is it for one room or all rooms? Enter the amount exactly as shown, then select its scope. An included resort fee is never added again.
Use the exact tax amount from your quote when available. Otherwise, enter the room and resort-fee tax rates and treat the result as an estimate. We round each tax line HALF_UP to a cent. Hotel invoices can use a different rounding method.
A debit-card hold reduces available cash in your bank account. A credit-card authorization reduces available credit. Neither should automatically be counted as a stay expense. Release timing varies by hotel and issuer.

There are no live room rates, guaranteed savings, real-time event prices, automatic loyalty eligibility decisions or guaranteed check-in approvals. Hotel policies, your actual booked offer and your bank control the final outcome.
